Learning every day with live animals
Vets in Training
Our mission is to encourage kindness, compassion, and empathy through interactions with live animals. We use STEAM based lessons and live animals to learn about veterinary care and animal science. Through these unique, interactive, educational experiences, the Vets In Training Program cultivates the human-animal bond to encourage an excitement for learning..

Why We Teach with animals
When a child sees an animal they naturally want to touch it, feel it, and play with it. They understand it is small and delicate. Immediately upon realizing that they will actually get to touch the animal, children mellow out. Animals produce a kind or relaxed focus in children that we harness and use to teach.
